Early Life and Chilean Beginnings
Ana Stephanie Vaquer González was born in San Fernando, in Chile’s O’Higgins Region. Drawn to lucha libre as a girl, she began training as a teenager and made her in-ring debut in 2009 at just sixteen, wrestling on Chile’s small independent circuit under her own name. With few opportunities for women wrestlers at home, she set her sights on Mexico — the heartland of lucha libre — and spent years working her way towards it through independent promotions across Latin America.
CMLL and Japan: Making History
Vaquer broke through in Mexico’s CMLL, the world’s oldest wrestling promotion, becoming the first South American woman on its roster. She won the CMLL World Women’s Championship and the World Women’s Tag Team Championship, headlined in Arena México, and in 2024 added Japan’s NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. That June she faced AEW star Mercedes Moné in a winner-take-all match at Forbidden Door that introduced her to American audiences — and, days later, changed her career.
Alongside partner Zeuxis, Vaquer also became one half of the inaugural CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions in 2023, and her technical, hard-hitting style — built on Japanese strong-style influences from her tours there — made her a favourite of Arena México’s demanding crowds. Wrestling insiders rated her among the best women’s wrestlers in the world outside the major American promotions well before WWE called.
WWE: The NXT Double Champion
WWE signed Vaquer in July 2024, fast-tracking her to NXT. She won the NXT Women’s North American Championship in February 2025 — the first Chilean champion in WWE history — and a month later, at Roadblock, beat Giulia in a title-versus-title match to add the NXT Women’s Championship, becoming the first woman to hold both of NXT’s women’s singles titles simultaneously. Called up to Raw in 2025, she vacated the NXT belts to chase the main roster’s biggest prize.
Women’s World Champion
That chase ended quickly. At Wrestlepalooza in September 2025, Vaquer defeated IYO SKY to win the vacant Women’s World Championship — the summit of WWE’s Raw women’s division — and weeks later beat SmackDown’s Tiffany Stratton in Perth to add the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. In little over a year she had gone from new signing to the standard-bearer of the division, with her ‘SVB’ finisher and horned entrance mask becoming signature sights.
Stephanie Vaquer Net Worth
Vaquer’s net worth is commonly estimated at around $1–2 million, though published figures vary and none are official. Her earnings reflect a long road — modest pay on the Chilean and Mexican circuits for over a decade — transformed by a WWE main-roster contract, championship merchandise and international touring. Trackers expect the figure to rise steeply with her championship profile.
Personal Life
Vaquer is fiercely proud of her Chilean roots, carrying the flag in her entrances and speaking Spanish in promos as a point of representation for Latin American fans. Her nickname ‘La Primera’ — the First — marks her string of firsts for South American women in Mexico, Japan and WWE. Away from the ring she keeps her life private, focusing interviews on her craft and on inspiring girls in Chile to wrestle.
